Man at Sea is the moniker of Bristol based singer/songwriter David Hewson.

Described as a cross between Rufus Wainwright and Thom Yorke his songs combine sparse arrangements with soaring melodies, shot through with lyrics that have an existential thread and always a dark undertone, dealing with themes of identity and the modern-day sense of a loss of spirituality.

Moving to Bristol from London in 2017 he began performing locally as Man at Sea and in 2019 released his first 4 track EP Minotaur, receiving critical praise and a feature on BBC introducing in the West.  His new single Ghost Song marks his much anticipated follow up securing his place as an Artist to watch in the current new wave of emerging Bristol singer/songwriters.
